Marnie is responsible for arranging the financing for all of Green Courte’s fund investments and executing the company’s capital markets strategies. Marnie also leads Green Courte’s investor relations function and oversees all fundraising activities. Marnie has been with Green Courte since 2008.
Prior to joining Green Courte, Marnie spent three years with Countrywide Commercial Real Estate Finance. As an Assistant Vice President in originations, Marnie was part of a team that originated and closed both fixed and floating rate loans on various commercial real estate asset classes located across the country. Prior to Countrywide, Marnie worked at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company in a similar loan originations role. Previously, Marnie had completed a capital markets analyst training program at Bank One.
Mark is responsible for the accounting, financial and operational reporting functions for Green Courte’s investment funds and portfolio companies. Mark joined Green Courte in 2015.
Prior to joining Green Courte, Mark served for seven years as Global Controller and Principal Accounting Officer at Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (NYSE: JLL). Mark has spent over twenty years in senior finance and accounting roles within a number of public and private companies, including Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated, JPMorgan Chase & Co./Bank One Corporation (NYSE: JPM) and Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Mark is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation. Mark earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
Josh is a Managing Director with the Portfolio Management Team. Josh has been with Green Courte since 2018.
Prior to joining Green Courte, Josh worked at Heitman Capital Management in Chicago. During his time at Heitman, Josh was responsible for the management and performance of a $4 billion portfolio, consisting of office, retail, apartment and self-storage assets. Earlier in his career, Josh was a management consultant at PwC in New York, where he was responsible for conducting operational assessments of organizational processes, technology platforms, and compliance controls for financial services firms.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Gettysburg College and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Jordan leads the acquisitions and capital deployment for Green Courte’s niche industrial, near-airport parking, and land-lease community investments.
Since joining Green Courte in 2008, Jordan has played a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing some of the firm’s most significant transactions, with deal experience exceeding $2 billion. His experience includes participation in the acquisitions of American Land Lease, Inc. and The Parking Spot, as well as the firm’s expansion into niche industrial. He is also actively involved in identifying and evaluating new investment strategies.
Prior to joining Green Courte, Jordan worked at Principal Real Estate Investors, where he was responsible for the financial analysis and due diligence of potential student housing and shopping center acquisitions for a large pension fund.
Jordan serves on the Board of Directors of The Big Shoulders Fund and The Economic Club of Chicago, where he currently serves as Secretary and is a member of the Executive Committee. He is also a member of the Manufactured Housing Institute, National Parking Association, and National Association of Industrial Outdoor Storage. In addition, he teaches monthly investing classes at a Chicago inner-city school.
Jordan graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science in Business with majors in Finance and Accountancy.
Currey is a Managing Director and President of GCP Truck Storage Management, LLC, Green Courte’s strategy to acquire and operate best in class managed truck parking and industrial outdoor storage properties. Currey joined Green Courte in 2023.
Prior to joining Green Courte, Currey was President of Vantage Truck Parking, LLC, a business he started and led as a subsidiary of Copart, Inc (NASDAQ: CPRT). Through acquisitions and greenfield start ups, Vantage became one of the largest managed truck parking companies in the country with more than 4,000 parking spaces in 9 locations across 5 states.
Prior to his role with Vantage and Copart, Currey was COO for a private equity owned automotive salvage auction company, where he led the integration of multiple business acquisitions and the subsequent sale of the business to Copart. He spent 20 years in Senior Management roles, including Vice President of Operations and Vice President of International Development, with Keystone Automotive Industries. During his tenure, Keystone went public and grew to be the largest distributor of aftermarket collision parts through organic growth and the consolidation of more than 50 business acquisitions. Keystone was acquired by LKQ Corp (NASDAQ: LKQ) and he played a role in integrating the two $800 million organizations.
Currey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
C.R. is responsible for overseeing development projects across Green Courte’s near-airport parking, senior living, and land-lease community investments.
Prior to joining Green Courte, C.R. served as Senior Vice President of Development and Construction for AJ Capital Partners, a vertically integrated developer with $3.6 billion in real estate investments across 45 markets. Over his career at AJ Capital, C.R. oversaw the planning and development efforts of numerous high-profile developments totaling nearly 2.6 million square feet and $1.2 billion of hospitality and mixed-use developments. In his earlier career C.R. held numerous management roles at Vail Resorts Development Company on behalf of publicly traded Vail Resorts, the largest owner and operator of ski resort properties. C.R.’s duties were to oversee the company’s mountain development team as well as expansion efforts across its entire portfolio of properties.
C.R. has a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy from Rollins College and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
